How it works
Chatham Virtual School is a partner school with the University of Alaska's Dual Enrollment Program, called the Alaska Advantage Program. Through The Alaska Advantage program, high school students may take high-quality online courses, offered by University of Alaska Fairbanks and University of Alaska Southeast. These college courses will help you get a jump start on your college career and meet your high school requirements at the same time. Students who enroll in the Alaska Advantage Program will:
Get a solid introduction to college.
Receive both high school and college credit simultaneously.
Earn credits that are accepted at UAF and UAS but can also be transferred to other institutions of higher education.
Enrollment begins early!
Fall enrollment begins in April and Spring enrollment begins in October for college classes. The University of Alaska requires a number of orientations steps before you may enroll. If you are interested, please start by contacting Chatham Virtual School, and we will walk you through the process:
