Chatham Correspondence Program

What is the CSDCP?

The Chatham School District Correspondence Program (CSDCP) is a statewide home school program designed to serve the needs of students and their parents living anywhere in Alaska. CSDCP has been reorganized to meet the growing demand for alternative educational options. We strive to provide students and parents choices and flexibility so that learning can suit each family’s needs.

Flexibility is Key!

You may choose whatever homeschool option works best for your child, and full and half time students will receive an allotment to cover curricular costs. A Chatham School District teacher works with you to custom-fit your curriculum to your family’s needs. Chatham will help you choose a curriculum from a list of vendors, or assist as you build your own curriculum courses. CSDCP students living near a Chatham public school may also enroll in selected local classes, participate in athletic programs, and use Chatham facilities for other school related activities.

Options Include:
  • Timberdoodle
  • Waldorf Curriculums
  • Laurel Springs
  • And more!

Dual Enrollment College Courses

CSDCP offers Dual Enrollment courses through the University of Alaska. UAF's eCampus Advantage program provides quality online dual enrollment courses so that students can get a jump start on college, while also meeting high school requirements.
