Writers Workshop

There recently has been a trend that includes the entire school putting down Storm Knowles. I believe I’ll try and act nice to Storm; only if he doesn’t accept my tithe of kindness with obtuse behavior, which qualifies as anything that is disrespectful or purposefully annoying. The only reason I believe anyone is angered with Storm is because he has no respect for himself or anyone else; I think if I maybe displayed kindness toward Storm and served as a Ro-model as opposed to an enemy his own self would reprimand his attitude.

I believe that this trend towards Storm has been childish, single minded and below storm; for everybody that has let Storms cantankerous behavior has begun to stoop down to his level.

You are correct Bradford does seem to look harshly on the native population. Why so you think he wrote that way? Is ther any primary source information to refute his writings?

Really I can not imagine living in this for one minute. It almost seems as if bradford dramatized the harshness of natives, and if there was no place of resting then exactly how did they survive. I just question how he survived, if this selection wasn't a dramatization then why didn't bradford include how they survived through the winter in his diary?

That is a very inspiring post.  I am so proud of what you have accomplished.  Keep it up even when things get difficult remember the rewards of your hard work. 

"If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowldge always pays the best interest." This is important to me because i want to be able to graduate. If you have the right kind of mind you'll pass easy. their is no price on your education, it'll all be worth it in the end. You'll make more money when your done with your work, so do it right. These are the things that I feel he is talking about, and this is what I learned last year while I was having a hard time consitrating on my work. This is very important for everyone to know, this makes it so much easier in High School.
